Navigating the iconic Death Star corridors in Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga offers players a thrilling mix of classic humor and action-packed puzzle solving. The fourth story mission of Episode IV, titled This Is Some Rescue, puts players right in the middle of a daring prison breakout. Mastering every objective in this level requires a keen eye for hidden collectibles, precise platforming skills, and strategic character switching.

Starting the Death Star Breakout

As the mission begins, your initial goal is to recover keycards from Imperial officers while navigating through heavily guarded hallways. Players must clear out waves of Stormtroopers while managing character abilities to unlock doors and press forward. Taking the time to smash nearby objects yields valuable studs that help secure the coveted True Jedi rank early on.

To progress efficiently through the initial corridors, utilize Protocol Droids to access terminals and retrieve essential passwords. These passwords unlock specialized doors deeper in the facility, which hide valuable secrets. Staying observant during these early firefights prevents missed opportunities for bonus rewards.

Unlocking Hidden Rooms and Level Challenges

Completing all three level challenges adds a great deal of replay value and satisfaction for completionists. The Special Edition challenge requires players to discover a secret room within the Death Star using a Bounty Hunter to blast through gold doors. Another challenge, named Bullseye, rewards players for taking an uncivilized shortcut by shooting the red button above the door holding Luke and Leia.

For the final challenge, known as For Luck, you must find an alternate path across the gap using an Astromech droid terminal. Finding these creative solutions allows you to bypass hazards while unlocking new corridors. Exploring these alternate routes is essential if you want to achieve full completion on your first Free Play run.

Tracking Down Every Minikit and Collectible

Securing all five Minikits in This Is Some Rescue involves a combination of environmental puzzles and keen tracking. One Minikit requires hunting down three MSE mouse droids scattered across different levels of the facility. Other Minikits are tucked away behind Force-switchable platforms, wall-running poles, and password-protected chambers.

Collecting every item awards players with a micro-build ship model, adding to your overall game collection. Utilizing Force users to stack crates or swing across ledges ensures you reach high balconies where hidden canisters sit. Gathering these collectibles provides a comprehensive way to experience everything the level has to offer.

Escaping the Chasm and Clearing the Level

The climactic conclusion of the level centers on helping Luke and Leia cross the massive chasm while holding off enemy fire. After clearing the upper and lower levels of incoming troopers, players can execute the classic grapple swing to safety. This satisfying moment marks the successful conclusion of the rescue operation.

Once the mission is complete, players unlock new character variants such as the Empire Captain alongside extra Kyber Bricks. Returning in Free Play mode allows you to bring diverse character classes back into the Death Star to clean up any missed Minikits. With the right strategy, escaping the Empire's ultimate weapon becomes a fun and rewarding adventure.
